Wildflower Henna
Henna and Jagua are natural dyes that are used to create intricate temporary tattoos. I am on a mission to adorn the beautiful people of Pittsburgh with henna and jagua art.
My Story
I'm a Computational Biologist originally from Bangladesh. I moved to Pittsburgh 5 years ago for school. It has now become home. I have developed a love for almond torte, Sunseri's pepperoni rolls, Pickle ice cream, and Schenley park - things only Pgh could have given me. It is only fair I give something back, something that's inherently me.
My Work
Where I'm from, henna tattoos (aka mehndi) are an integral part of our lives. Getting together with friends and family before any big celebration to adorn each other with henna is a must. So is pettily comparing who has the darkest henna stain, as it is widely believed that the darker the stain the more loved you are. I have been creating Henna magic since I was 7 years old.
